    Ebay item # 150077829903.
    Porter cable polisher with sonus pads kit £145 posted.
    Is this the going rate or are they cheaper elsewhere ?

    If you buy from the states, wouldn't you have to buy a transformer as they work on different voltage + they use a 2 pin plug ?

    Yes they are 110volts... but I was under the impresion that all porta cable, weather bought here or in america were 110volts anyway as they are made in the states.

    I didn't know that Ed, thought that because it's UK seller it was a uk plug etc. you live n' learn eh?
    I'm off out to Florida again later this year so may post 1 back home to myself as a 'GIFT' (a-hem! sorry H.M.Customs but have to do this in rip-off Britain !)

    b4 i ordered mine i saw them on ebay also its exactly the same but 4 £199.99 you get transformer and plug included think they were from southhampton?

    They work out cheaper from Autopia with the discount and they sent them in such a way that you very rarely will have to pay duty on them.

    If you're going out there I would just suggest bringing one back with you, they're not too big, plus some pads.

    Whether you buy them from here or the states you will need the transformer.

    There is some talk of Meguiars introducing a UK spec version of this polisher in the near future but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
