Z22YH Fuel Pump

As per previous thread my signum 2.2 would not get past 3500 rpm without going into limp mode.I bought a new continental fuel pump off E bay for £275 and fitted it in a few minutes went for a drive and it runs great went way over 3500 rpm without a hitch.I now have a siemens fuel pump which has done 25000 miles but obviously has something wrong with it if anyone wants it let me know.

I just had a Contenental pump put in my 2.2 Direct.Praying it's going to be o.k after the last Siemans pump lasted less than 3 years.Is it really a modified pump or just a new sticker on it?

My last Conti pump died after 2 years.. so the newer pump is no more reliable...

What is the problem with these pumps.I'm now on my 3rd ,the last two i have had to pay for myself.
