Default I'm back after about 3 years...

    Hello Everyone,

Just thought I'd come and say hello (again)
I sold my Edition 100 about 3 years ago to a mate of mine, well he has been given a car by his Mum so I am buying the Vectra back for a silly cheap price.
It currently has a fault where the turbo is cutting out but I'm hoping it's something silly like one of the Bypass/solenoid valave!
I cannot wait to drive it again!

Well hope everyone is all cool...just thought I'd stick my head in!

Welcome back. Most likely suspect are the two boost sensors/solenoids as you say, although the diaphram in the vacuum solenoid is very common to go too or if you're really unlucky, like me and a couple of others on here in the past, the wastegate could have come off the actuator arm or come loose.

Hi mate, I'm guessing the actuator arm is a turbo off job?

If the wastegate's come loose as happened on mine (or off totally as a couple of others have had) then yes it's a turbo off job. Personally for the sake of £12 each or whatever they cost, I'd try the two valves first (one on the turbo, one on the inlet manifold).
