Has anyone remapped their insignia cdti yet?

loads on insignia ensuing have been mapped, with figures up to 220...

having come from a 185bhp Vectra, I'd love to map mine but the lifetime warranty just isn't worth the risk. I do miss the power though...

I remember reading that only the early Insignia diesels could be remapped, the later ones having code that can't be cracked...

Plus, something very suspicious about that picture - the reg number belongs to Vauxhall, and they put it on whatever car they're giving to the press to test drive. Currently it's on a Corsa.

also the car has Brembo brakes fitted so the picture is probably a VXR anywyay

There is a box which records when the ECU was accessed and if it has been flashed - if you have the newer lifetime warranties it's best to leave the remaps alone. It's also a bit more difficult too.

i can vouch for the garage thats advertising it, i bought my bmw from them and theyre customer service was very gd and even managed to haggle £450 off the asking price
