    Default Twin fog switch. But...

What will i need to be able to have front fogs installed?? I plan on making it driving lamp not fogs. The twin fog light switch unit arrive soon in the post, is it a straight swap?

Will there be wiring ready to plug and play if i buy fog lamps? If wires needed, what wires? I found a few but for v. C up to pre-face.

I think the wires will be there they were there on my `120 cdti club.

You also need the correct UEC module (engine bay fuse box).

For some strange reason, Vauxhall chose to miss out an internal relay or module within the UEC.
This module drives the Front fogs.

I have tried at length to guide people through the fitment of the necessary wiring from the UEC to the bumper, but this is all wasted if you don't have a higher specification engine bay fuse box (UEC).

Everything can be programmed in IPC - (instrument panel), BCM (Body control module) and UEC (Underhood electrical centre) and ligts up on the dash etc. but no front fogs.

If you have check control enabled, it will show a fault as the circuit is incomplete - (again this is within the UEC).

I have successfully used the relay method, using the ashtray illumination wire to trigger the relay.
This is so that the fogs can only come on when the front side-lights are on.
(The way it was meant to do in the old days).

If they were cable tied to the bumper of of your 120 cdti club chances are someone has retro fitted the foglight loom, as the loom is attached to the inside of the front bumper via little clips on the inside of the lower bumper grills.
