    Default 2.2 dti bits cleaning

thought id be brave and clean out the egr valve and boost sensor, glad i did, totally coked up, used half a can of carb cleaner to get them clean. seen the suggestion on here, so thought id go for it.

is ther anything else i can do to help mpg, simple things, like idle control valve and coolant temp sensor. i know where the coolant one is, but have i got an ICV. its an 04 sri 2.2 dti

Clean the 'swirl flaps' on the dti Injector pipes will have to be removed, and the dti engines are a pain to start after the fuel system has been touched without a primer pump.
