    Default hybrid turbo and intercooler!

    Hi guys now not very sure about anything like this as have always had non turbo petrols and the diesels i have had i have never bothered with so.....

    Im interested in fitting a hybrid turbo to my 1.9cdti 120 but as i know nothing about them well apart from what have read on here.
    So i am wondering what the pros and cons are, where is best to get them, how much does it cost and also what else do i need like intercooler etc.

    Has anyone on here fitted a one to the 120? And if so what sort of gains should i expect

    Sorry for all the questions guys but as i say never bothered with turbos before and want to understand everything thats involved with doing this cos dont just ljke handing things over to garages lol

    Would it not be cheaper to buy a 150 and have it boxed? Probably faster than a 120 with a hybrid

    But the 150 engines have loads of problems and thats why i never bought one in the first place and i wanted to be different 8v all the way just like the saxo vtr i had lol

    Tbh mate a good solid map and decat and that will be enuf trust me as someone said above if ya hybrid it best to get a 150 first although If ya keep ya 120 remap decat and front mount will be spot on
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    I have to agree with paulvectrac, makes more sense than trying to hybrid the 120

    Ok then just thought would be cool to do to an 8v and thats what i wanted. So were should i look to get an intercooler for the 120 then any ideas?
