Could be the throttle body mate. A breather hose goes to it from the crankcase and they get crapped up. Take the hose off that goes from the AFM to the throttle body and have a look inside. If it needs cleaning then its easy enough to remove, just 3 bolts and a couple of pipes. There is a how 2 somewhere i think. Make sure you also clean the breather pipe out too while youre at it. Only other possible cause is a faulty coil pack, My old Vec B had a rough idle once and that was a faulty rcoil pack on the rear bank HTH
Thanks mate will have a look at it today
Ok ive had a look what pipe is the breather lol i took it off and noticed one of the bolts holes is rounded off so the bolt isnt tightening up and there was no gasket :S so when i put it back together after a clean i put gasket sealant on it just now it seams to be a bit better i think will find out once its heated up better.
Breather pipe is arrowed in the pic. It goes under the inlet and round to the back of the engine......

Thanks that was a little clogged up but not to bad but cleaned it up anyway lol
where does the air pipe go from the t - piece on the other side of the engine , runs underneath the covers , does it end up on the manifold [inlet]
looking for an air-leak on mine
That pipe goes right along the front of the engine and down the right hand side if your looking at it head on.
