hi looking to fit hids to my car was wondering which set every one recomends ??
looking for 8000k

I had 6000k in mine mate and looked awesome. 8000k looks a bit too blue IMO.

8k? Jesus, 6k were too blue for me. Expect to get pulled by the fuzz loads with them. Want to see where your going fit 5k.

Got mine from hids4us (the canbus pro ones) 3 years ago. Apart from a bulb failure in January, they've been fine.

People will also recommend HIDs-Direct to you. Others won't - (customer service problems)

And then there's carmodshop

They're all pretty much the same - made in China and just packed into difference boxes.

All much of a muchness as Big Dave says. Not had any issues with the systems other than my bad siting of the ballasts which got damp in the wings, but resited and now fine.

Anything past 5k looks blue. also higher the K rating the less light is given out. I had 6k and dropped to 4.3k for a more factory fitted Xenon look. plus they look fine with the standard sidelights whereas 6k look odd and you have to change them to whiter ones, then they will be too dim, unless you get LED .. which flicker etc etc etc etc...

iv got 6k but id like 4800 as i still find the 6k a bit too blue.

Buying them from hid4us do you need bulb holders ?
