Hmmm now I don't have a CDC40 (neither with nor without DAB), but I would have thought that there were two aerials.
One to the DAB box, and another to the CDC40 for the non-digital radio reception.

Is there a white or cream coloured fakra connector on the back of the head-unit?
I would think that there should be, as many CDC40 (CD40 / Opera) are not fitted with DAB units.

Regardless of head-unit fitted, there SHOULD be a fakra aerial for the RF (radio frequency) aerial.

Power for the Dension unit - You could take your wires as follows: -

RED - Batery live from either the head-unit pin 15 or DAB unit pin 4
They are both fed from fuse FI 1 (end of dash panel)

BROWN - Chassis earth - either tag straight to earth, pin 12 of the head-unit or pin 13 of the DAB box.

BLACK - Ignition Live - most people take this from either of the cigarette lighter or charge socket connectors.

If you don't have the rear charger socket on the back of the central armrest, then there will be a socket taped up below the hand-brake - undr the plastic centre console trim.

    Robsey:

Yeah there was a cream Fakra connector, i take this is the aerial, if so how will this connect to the Ice Link. Do you have any suggestions for the power solution.

Regarding the Dension link, I have not seen the connectors, but I asume that there are aerial plug adapters available from any I.C.E shop. - You could try Halfords, but they can be more than twice the price of other sellers.

I assume the connections would require your aerial to be unplugged from the head-unit, and then a tail from the Dension link should be plugged into the head-unit in it's place.

Your RF aerial is probably just lay around behind the head-unit or heater panel inside the dash.
It is unlikely to be tied up out of the way.
