    Default Can strobing bulbs drain the battery?

    Sounds stupid i know, but my sidelights seem to strobe all night long, and they have got about.. 80 Leds on them lol

    the mechanics who were working on my car said my batterys struggling and said it could be that.. but surely.. not?.. no?

    shouldn't strobe for long,i think mine strobe for a few mins

    It won't be that, will use the same power with normal bulbs fitted, Get the battery and charging system checked properly under load, if no fault found, check for a parasitic drain or 'dark current'

    I remember when i first did my interior light mod for some strange reason the leds i used staid on very slightly it was hard to notice till you looked really close to them

    I swear to god, this is what the mechanic said to me, and I thought... Huh...

    I mean you should see the bulbs I'm using (I did. Thread about them)
    They are mad, about 40 leds per bulb

    I think the strobing was just annoying him

    change them to normal bulbs, if no change that rules them out. i have led's they strobe but not all the time unless the ignition is on, i dont have any problems with mines aprt from the srtobing.
