    Default mpg advice pls

    Hi all
I used to get between 35 and 40 mls per gallon on my 1.9 150 but since I've had the clutch and dmf replaced I'm only getting between 28 and 30. I know that the trip computer isnt very acurate but that is a big difference. I dont drive like maniac and Ive just had a service too. She has done nearly 109k. Any ideas please?
    Cheers folks

That is a big difference, one that surely you would feel, does it drive the same, feel held back at all?

EDIT: Just found this after you had the DMF/clutch done...

So it may be a coicidence, and could the EGR/boost sensor related (as below).

Dont forget the weather is colder now, so it will take longer for the car to reach temp. So using more fuel.

Have you checked your tyre pressures, this can make a big difference, binding brakes?

How about doing a manual mpg check. Fill it up and drive 200 miles and refill it. See how much fuel was used.

Cant see it being the DMF...unless they put one in that weighed about 500kg lol
Can't see it being the EGR for that big of a drop either.
Fudged DPF, low/no pressure at the Turbo maybe.
