    Default M32 bolts

    Good morning good people.

I'm in the process of changing my clutch/dmf on my 1.9 cdti Vectra C a la tugger434's most excellent 'how to'.

It's a z19dt engine with m32 gearbox not f40 though but that has mattered little up to yet. I'm at the part where I'm removing the gearbox bolts so that I can split it away from the engine. Now on the 'how to' it says remove 6 bolts, I've taken 5 out and for the life of me can't see any more but neither will the engine/gearbox split.

Any suggestions would be most welcome........

Found it!! Tucked away under the starter motor. Couldn't actually see it, had to get it out by feel only...... don't remember the clutch being this hard last time I changed one ( Mk2 Cortina 1600 )

Anyway gearbox now out, tomorrow's another day......

frasedeb... sory for not responding sooner been busy.

I couldn't tell either, no sticker and no stamp anywhere on the box that meant anything I had to go with what the stealership that's had it in the past told me and trust them.
Once it's off it is then easy to tell and fortunately they were right as I'd already bought the new clutch kit.
Anyway, on M32 box's the input drive shaft has 20 splines on the F40 it has 23. There's a pdf document on the web somewhere put out by LUK, a quick google search should find it easily enough.
Latest news is I can't get t he flywheel bolts out!! They're t60 torx and tight as a drum, I'm just not strong enough with the leverage I can get...... ( ******, thinking cap on ).
