"check light" fault message

Hello all!


Signum 2.2 direct

Since last week I get everytime I start my car I get 2 messages on the big display:
- check left brake light
-check left reverse lamp

I checked the lamps and they work ok but I still get the mesages and it is a bit annoying.

Any ideas/advices?

It is possible the bulbs are on the way out as it measures the resistance on them. Try new decent quality bulbs, check the contacts are clean.

Are you sure the brake bulb hasnt blown and the car is using the sidelight bulb instead?

The bulbs go high resistance as they get older and get close to failing which trips the bulb check warnings. I'd just swap them out for new ones to be honest.

the bulbs are working...I took them out and check each one of them, but they might be old indeed. I will buy new ones and replace all of them.

just changed the bulbs..everything ok now!
