    Default Swirls and scratches

Sorry if this has been asked before.Just wondered what you guys recommend for removal of the above, haven't had the car long about a month now. Given it one good wash and polish using meguires nxt tech wash and the nxt tech 2 wax came up really nice but it still has a small number of scratches that i'd like to try and remove and the dreaded swirl marks from poor washing by previous owner/garage.Was thinking about getting some meguires ultimate compound or is this too agressive. Should i try swirl x instead as i believe vauxhall paint to be soft and thin.My car is black sapphire metallic, also i'd be doing this all by hand.

As above with the scratch removal ,its very much easier using a DA plus you have a more controlled and even use of cutting/polishing products .
For a full scratch removal session i would go with something like Zaino fusion and then ramp it up to maybe 3M,s fast cut if you needed to be really aggresive but this would only be in very extreme cases
Probably best to let one of us so called experts have a look to judge what is feasible .Keep an eye out for one of the area,s detailing /fixit days which come up at this time of year .
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it
