Default Day 3 of ownership and problems

Onthe test drive it came up with egr fault, so during the week the garage had it and fitted new spring new discs and pads got it mot'd etc... They took egr off to clean it, anyway every time you drove the car and it got upto temperature the spanner light would come on and it still drove fine. Today however no spanner light but I did get the exhaust emissions light which is now on perminately, again the car drives fine. When I got to work I did the pedal test to get the codes stored and they showed as egr, particulate filter and misfire cylinder 1. Sorry I couldn't remember the codes. The drive home was good however the idle is really really rough, the car shakes but rpm is steady! I have to add it doesn't go into limp home mode. Also I filled it up at tesco.
Thankfully the car is of course covered under warranty and it is going back to the dealer I bought it off, they did offer to keep it another week but I don't think I had another day use out off my mgzt, so needed it. The garage recommended I drive it for a couple of weeks to see what happens then give it back to them for a few days. It drives great, plenty of power really smooth, handles fantastically returns over 40mpg on motoway at 75mph. but I can't help being worried sick about it, do I need to get over my paranoid state having owned an mg rover for the last year?
My car is a 55 reg 3.0v6 cdti Sri.

Thinking back to the drive, with the rough idle the mpg reading was poor so might have been going through a regen! Problem is if the egr is goosed will my car be trying to permanently regen the dpf?

Day 4 of driving car has lost a lot of power, still accelerates but doesn't feel as if turbo kicking in.
did the pedal test again, my codes are:
    p0409 egr
p0520 oil pressure sensor, new tonight
    p1901 particulate filter
    p0301 misfire cylinder 1

when I drove to work this morning it felt like car was doing a regen on motorway, then I accelerated and saw a puff of smoke behind me. The drive home was great mpg was better and car felt smoother. Then went shopping tonight and gave my wife the chance to drive the car, she loved the handling but there was no power when flooring it!
once pulled into the drive the revs climbed to just under 1000rpm mpg was fluctuating between 0.2 and 0.3 temperature was steady at 85
how many of those codes could be linked? Or do the garage need to concentrate on each one separately?

Just seen this , is the engine z30dt or a y30dt
The egr valve on the v6 isn't cleanable.like the 1.9 version so it.needs a.new one

Not sure if your v6 has the dpf mine hasn't got one if it does have then tech2 can be used to force a regen on them
Was the big puff of smoke out of the back black , if it was its quite normal for this to happens under hard acceleration it's basically clearing all the crap out of the egr and exhaust as they do get clogged up if not given an Italian tune up.every now and then

If I was you I would be taking it back and demanding they fixed it all and gave you a courtesy car till it's all repaired

The EGR Valve on the Y30DT engine cannot be cleaned, unlike the Z30DT which can be

As a 55 reg, it is most likely a Z30DT
However, could the OP advise whether it has square headlamps and sweeping ones; this will confirm what engine is fitted

    Some changes since June 2012
The EGR Valve on the Z30DT can now be removed and cleaned (3 days out of car)
The dealership I use also advise that a procedure for the cleaning of the EGR Valve on the Y30DT is due by the end of the year

Cheers fellas! The garage is ordering a new EGR valve for me and I'm taking the car back to them on Saturday. It's definitely a facelift, there going to keep it till its 100 percent.
