hiya all, ive got the 314mm upgrade upfront on my 2008 vec cdti 150 sri and am thinking about upgrading the rears too, correct me if im wrong but is the upgrade for 292mm discs etc?. so if any of you lot have done this or have the 314mm on the front and have upgraded the back too whats your thoughts? if they make no real differance i may look to fit the vxr set up upfront?? any advice and views thanks, rob

although the fronts are better over standard im still not 100% happy with em, hence me looking at doing the rears too, i know mine are gonna need changing fairly soon (rear discs that is, looking that way anyhow) if theres any guys on here thats done both front 314mm and rear 292mm it would be interesting to see what they are like. may also look at braided hoses. i know the vxr front set up is hard to find and can cost a lot of wonga so may just look at 292mm upgrade,

I've upgraded the rears, made a noticeable difference over just the 314mm upgrade, also have goodridge braided hoses, brakes are awesome, tyres are the weakest link now. This was on a 1.9 16v too.

this is what i plan to do, got 314 comeing next few days get them preped and ready to go on then i'll get the hoses and do the front then move onto the back a few months down the line.
when they are all new and got the hoses on is the pedal solid and very nippy?? lol
i like brakes like that mines are good but a bit dull hence the upgrade.
    cheers
