    Default Anyone used wewantanycar?

Alright peeps, ive just got a valuation for my st at 6000-6135 with all the dents etc listed, thats with the finance declared which is just under 2k. How will it work if i sell them the car?
Im happy to still pay the finance for the remaining period but is it allowed or does it have to be settled by me or will they take care of that side ? Bit confused as to what happens when it comes to that side?

    Cheers

They will probably pay the outstanding finance and then give you the rest.

Although with these sites they tend to drop the price when they see the car and screw you lol.

they offer that to entice you in, then pick they'll out of your car and then slap an "admin" fee on top....pull your trousers down now

You won't legally be able to switch owners until the finance has been settled on their terms. This can either be done by you, or the dealer with agreement by the finance company. You will not be able to carry on with the payments while the car is no longer in your posession. Any attempt to do so will come to light when the new owner tries to register themselves as the new owner. The finace company actually owns your car, you are simply the registered keeper. Hope that all makes sense ?

    Cheers

Yeah thanks thats what i was thinking really. So if they give me 6k for mine it will leave me with about 4200 after finance has been paid off, hmm not much for a decent xp2. Oh well.

Yes, but the dealer won't give you 6K, they will check if it is on finance and recognise that they will need to settle with the finance company before they can offer it for sale, so, they will only offer you the difference (£4200 possibly) against a replacement car from them. They will also tend to widen the gap between what your car costs them, and what you are after buying from them. So, your car might cost them £1800 and leave them with a car that they don't think they can sell for much more than £5,500, so you will not get such a good deal as you might if you were a cash buyer with no trade in and no finance. The alternative thinking is that you could probably find the car they are offering you for up to £1500 less if you had the cash up front.
The only "winner" is the finance company who will screw you wicked and leave you wondering why you can't get a better deal. Trust me, I do a bit of repo work for a mate on behalf of one of the biggest banks. The finance company will not lose out !!
    Cheers
