Default A Big Thanks to Richard.Roberts

Met up with him this evening and helped greatly with doing the

    Air Box mod,
Removing the filter on the BCS.
    Restricting plate fitted on EGR.
    Check MAF
and general inspection of various pipes.

Seems to run smoother for these.

Will report back with any findings in the near future.

A BIG THANK YOU TO RICHARD, TOP GUY.

Typical thread of this forum. Members not only giving their time to reply to threads but giving up their own time to work on members cars. If Carlsberg made forum members it would be the likes of Richard.Roberts, Happy postie and many, many more members I have read about in different threads helping out fellow members.

It is good to see a member showing his appreciation to another member who has helped him. Well done.
Doesn't always work that way though - after reading a post where a member was stuck for the lower have of a fuel filter canister, which couldn't be bought separately - I had a look in the garage and found one - wrapped it up and posted it to him - never heard another word from him - assume it arrived ok - I didn't want a medal or anything for it but a thank you and perhaps an offer of a couple of quid to cover the postage (although again I wasn't particularly after that) would have been a nice gesture - but hey that's life and another lesson learnt.
