    Angry Arnold Clark contact/complaint

    Hi all,

    Does anyone know if the above company has a 'corporate complaint' policy, and how it can be accessed?

    I've written 2 nasty letters to the motorstore manager - and been totally ignored, so its got my back up somewhat.

    The branch is the one on Sefton St, Liverpool! Avoid!

    Go to your local trading standards mate and they will help you out..thats the way i went

    Yeah I'd suggest the same. When I was on work experience with TS, they have files on complaints but they had a whole box file just for AC complaints!!

    an unsatisfied arnie customer! surely not! their after sales is non existent mate , shocking in fact, but try trading standards or indeed if its a vauxhall main dealer , try vauxhall customer care that should do the trick

    VX cannot do a thing even if they are a main dealer, found this out when i was trying to get stuck into the linwood branch for their shoddy service and dud cars

    beg to differ steven mate i got onto them after arnie and reggie got it wrong then itv was sorted very quicklly though i appreciate that not all cases are the same

    My company has a contract with Arnold Clark, and we purchase / lease about 40 vehicles a year

    Given the complaint is about their Motorstore, I would assume this is over a vehicle purchase
    On completion of the sale the salesman MUST take you through the post-saes procedure
    This sign-off includes details that you were offered a test-drive, review of finance, and so on

    If you find any missing parts, faults, etc., within the next 14 days you point of contact is the salesman

    I did so on my own Vectra which I looked at during the first week of November and signed for on the last week of November
    I then returned the following Saturday with a list of missing parts, documents, and faults
    The service department looked at them within one hour, which given the car hadn't been booked in and the service department was about to close I thought was impressive
    An order was made for the other missing parts, some of the others were scavenged from another similar Vectra

    Sadly one other document is still missing, and Network Q are currently sorting this out for me (Complete Protection Plan)

    I work for Sir Arnold and the liverpool nissan/motorstore does have a bit of a reputation.

    believe a guy called Alasdair Craig is the customer care manager, check on the website arnoldclark.com as I'm sure it gives details about making a complaint on there.

    When i had problems with my local stealer i contacted VX Customer Care and they sorted me out. Got everything i needed doing done. Got really stitched up though. They said "Your wiper blades need replacing as one has a crack in it". So i asked them how much? Their reply "£64.00 incl. VAT" Poke it! I got them for £6 each from a mate but later found out none where needed. Wonkers!

    Sorry needed a rant.
