140mph Clocks To 170mph Clocks

Hi Everyone,

My Vectra C 2.2 SRi currently has clocks which read to 140mph. Can I simply fit a set from the GSi which read to 170mph with no speed reading issues?

My 2.2 SRi 53 plate has 170 clocks as standard mate. Most are, have you had your mileage checked with opcom, sounds like your clock may have been changed in the past.

Thanks mate, not sure why I have 140mph clocks! Will get that checked out.

It could be another one of the first thing in the parts bin type things but then again the clocks may have been already been swapped out. Vaux /opcom can read the real trip reading on the ecu in km to see if they match.

My 170mph clocks arrived today..........from a 2.2 SRi! Just need to get them fitted. What do I need to do regarding coding them to the car?

Not sure on that one that one mate. I think as a basic set of dials its plug and play, but there might be a little pairing needed as well. Plasma will know for sure.

When i changed my 1.9 cdti it was a straight swap but the trip reading was different and couldn't be changed to the original reading
