Default Just Fitted a Caterman Special Tuning Box

...to my 150 SRI - what can I say.

The car is new to me anyway so still getting used to it but the tuning box makes such a difference.

Without the box, there was a definite surge from the turbo at 2000rpm which then tailed off about 3500. With the box on the "Kick" from the turbo has gone but has been replaced with a much stronger torquier pull than just continues right around to 4500-5000 rpm it is such a difference.

Having real trouble keeping the tyres on the road in first and second gear.

    Would really recommend one.

I maybe interested in fitting it to a 06 1.9 cdti 150 signum

In less than 2 minutes start to finish m8.

Mine has just gone on a CDTi 150 Signum. I used to have one on my Vectra. Could not live without it now.

What sort of inprovement can i see to fitting a box. Will it drop the MPG by much.
Is it a 2 minute job to remove it. For insurance checks etc.

MPG depends on how you drive it It can actually use less fuel as you need to work the engine less to maintain progress.
It takes the output up to over 185 bhp m8

It takes longer to take the engine cover off than to remove the box! The rubber fittings on the cover always stay on the engine and you have to pull them off to slot them back into the cover. That takes the time. The box itself is fitted and removed in seconds.
