confused Water in Drivers side passenger (rear) footwell.

Hi guys. Right.... bit of a problem here. I've got a wet rear footwell on the drivers side. The plug near the pollen filter is clear and I've poked and prodded the drain plug on the drivers side near the suspension arm thing (under the same housing as the pollen filter) and there's no water in the front drivers footwell, just the rear. I'm not losing any coolent and the car's fine execpt this wet footwell. Has anyone any ideas...Please.

If it's the rear, it won't be the pollen filter problem or coolant.

Is there any damage to the door seal on that door? Or (bit of a long shot), is the aerial base tight (as they can leak) ?

Have you given any old ladies a lift? Is the boot wet - in my short experience of the Vectra I'm astonished at how much water can get in when you open it in the wet - I didn't see 'Swimming Pool' on the features list!

And the plot thickens... There was some water sitting on the door seal and the underside of the door was wet so I removed the interior door panel and as soon as I undid the bottom screws approx 1/4 of a pint of water came flooding out. Any ideas anyone PLEASE.

There should a drain hole in the bottom of the door which might be blocked with rust or crap

The interior panel itself is soaked on the inside on corner below the handle and is wet all the way to the speaker. And the drain holes are all clear.

I'd go with this. Small screwdriver or pen knife and go round all doors poking the crap out of the drain slots.
