    confused Help with dpf

Anyone got any ideas to help please?
    Vec est 2005 1.9 8v with dpf.

Had the dpf drilled through and the software remapped months ago. Then I had problem and wouldnt start. Ended up redoing software back to standard vx (07 software i think although car is 05)which enabled the fault to be found and sorted.
Only now the prob is the ecu knows there's a dpf and it's stuck in constant regen so I need to sort.

Need to hav a word with guy that did the ecu but not positive and don't think sensible to get him to redo remap as obviously he got it wrong as engine couldn't diagnose faults on itself.

Is there a simple way to stop the regen by pulling a wire or sensor as already drilled (not bothered at mo if it leaves a warning light).

Iv got my council taxi mot in a few days and can't see it passing emissions tests if stuck in regen??

    Cheers

Can you use a diagnostic tool to change DPF "present" to "not present" and program it? I have not tried this before but know this function is available.

Just bn to local friendly garrage and they gona look at that this afternoon. Been told theres 2 different ecu's one that will allow the change, and one that won't.
I know what sods law will tell me this afternoon that it cant, but can live in hope.

Still hope for a brainwave a nighling feeling it won't work. Like pull lead on a sensor do it will kick a fault code that will stop the dpf even while in fault

I will be hitting this subject on monday when my dpf is remove for a straight through pipe... I'm going to have a look on the engine ECU setup and see if its possible but doubt it.

Standard vx wouldn't redo on my ecu.

went back to remapp place and they sorted with a new remap. Prob I had was with my normal vx software which realistically is pants. (Doesn't show faults on maf, crank sensor etc including bad regen settings for the dpf.

energy tuning in ashington cracking bunch redone map on newer software I already had loaded onto ecu and all sorted. Engine seems smoother too. Only cost £30 to redo, problem was vx software not remap

funny enough tho car passed the emissions test at council taxi MOT b4 the new remap. i kept fuel nearly empty so wiki lent regen at test time (impossible to live with low fuel as a taxi tho)

just need to do an oil change as it will have bn boiled by the dpf.

iv got details of energy running in ashington if anybody in north east needs it. Def know what they are doing and only do tuning dpfs and electrics so main work not a bodge sideline like some iv spoke to
