Default Tuning box fitted to my 1.9 cdti 150

I bought this tuning box as an impulse buy, however the fact that it had a 45 day money back period if not happy. It is called torquing diesel and they are based in Bracknell Berkshire. I have nothing to do with the company by the way. But just wanted to let others know how pleased I am with it. It. Has a 90 sec delay to allow ecu to adjust on a cold start up. Has a led to see its working. You can even switch it off to remind yourself what the difference is. As soon as I fitted it I noticed the extra power 177 ps and just done a 300 mile run, where stuck in traffic a bit and when I was going, I wasn't holding back, ie enjoying the extra torque, and it returned 52 mpg. I'm converted.

The tunning box will make the fuel computer MPG reading to be out, it will show you have got better economy than you really have. Work it out this way, fill up the tank, drive like you normally do and where you normally go etc, then fill up again and work it out on how far you have gone and how much fuel you have used.
I had a tunning box fitted to my V6 and I did back to back tests on several 1500 mile runs (300 miles a day, 5 days a week to the same place at the same time of day etc) and I did get better economy and bigger grins.

Yep, that is what I did. Filled it to the brim, then did the same when I got back and worked out the fuel used for the distance covered. Now seeing what the difference is on local driving.
