    Default Changing a heater blower

Hi all, i have a 2004 1.8 vectra estate, and i think the blower motor has gone, it used to squeal like mad then come to a stop, occasionally it would work, and get this sometimes if i went around a corner the heater would come on then go straight off again.

What i am really asking is, my friend has a 2003 vectra sri in his breakers yard that he has just aquired, would the heater blower motor out of that go in mine, or is the wiring etc different.

    Thanks fellas

    Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers fellas, i dont have a problem attempting this job, but i read on another thread where someone was changing the resistor, and he was worried in case he set his airbag off...

Is there a possibility of this happening???

And is there a how to on this anywhere, as i cant seem to find one.
