Default Do my headlights need cleaning?

Getting a bit dangerous now driving at night as my lights really don't light up the road, literally only shows 1 meter infront of the car

Took a photo of my headlight, the dipped beam lens (this is my dipped beam right?) is like a lightbulb that has gone white like in the link below

    http://www.turbophoto.com/Free-Stock...0Lightbulb.jpg

The other bulb to the left of it (the yellow one) seems to do absolutely **** all in terms of lighting the road, are these ones supposed to be facing down like mine is? and are they supposed to be that yellow and dim?

The picture makes them look brighter than they really are, the left bulb in real life is really yellow and dim

The ones towards the centre of the car are your sidelights, which will be pretty pants! Try & get some error free LED sidelight bulbs from eBay, mine are really bright (8 LEDs) & don't cause the usual errors, but do strobe for a few seconds when off.

Sidelights no really do anything other than mark presence of car in low ish light.

Try doing the light mod or call round an ill adjust them higher for you

Also worth considering Hids as vectra lights are poo

Feel free to come see my lights

    Thanks for the replies,

What's your views on fitting the 100% brighter bulbs, read that they do nothing but affect the pocket :/

Thanks Critch, where about are you located mate?

Thanks Envy, already have that set to point the lights the highest they will go, I think as Critch said they need adjusting and I also think it is combined with the bulbs just being poo!

Sound I'm only on the Holmlands myself. I will have a fiddle around with the adjusters tomorrow and If I get no where I will pop down at a time that suits you. Also you replied to my thread on the rocker cover gasket replacement, could maybe give me a little walkthrough before I get full of oil and bolts start flying everywhere lol
