Default Fitting Parrot CK3100 with CD70

    Hi all,

Going to be ordering a CK3100 unit shortly and wondered whats the best way of installing these units?

I know there are the standard leads you can buy from autoleads etc but not sure which way to go about it.

I've seen a couple of people mention that it can be fitted to the wires at the back of the glove box if they are present??

    Any guidance would be great

I've not fitted a CK3100 but have fitted lots of MKi 9200's to Vectra Astras

You need to access the main wiring loom to the rear of the CD70 by removing it.

Use a pre-made interface lead and remember to switch the yellow/red leads around to pick up ignition sensing,
the Parrot (goodbye message) should be seen when turning off the ignition, if you dont see this when turning off the ignition its not installed correctly.

Mount the main Parrot box under the CD70 behind the heater control panel

Ensure all cables run from the CD70 away from the housing to allow the unit to be refitted without pressure.

Thanks for this help, I'm going to have a go at it. I was thinking about getting someone to do it but it seems like its fairly straight forward.

    Thanks again

    Vehicle : Vectra

    I have a 3100 in my elite , although my stereo is a ccr2006
it is wired in to the loom behind the glovebox as this works as an "aux in" to the radio , this means that the cd is paused , the screen display changes to " message " and the phone volume can be turned up or down from the steering wheel controls .
still needed to run an ignition feed from the fag lighter.
