EGR - How many Makes are Available?

As in the title.

I had a EGR fitted 5 months ago (not Genuine VX) and had to be replaced recently with a Genuine VX valve because the Non VX one was malfunctioning.

I was not offered a refund but a replacement and was issued with a Lucas EGR Valve, does anybody know if Lucas are as good as VX?

Why don't you blank it..?

I think you have a DPF though, so might be worth doing both at the same time and map them both out.

I am considering it.

Although that is not the answer I was looking for

I know its not, but didn't want to recommend spending even more money on something you will need to revisit later anyway.

Typically you will find that like almost all components, the EGR will be made by Lucas or someone else anyway and not made by Vauxhall themselves. I would not have a concern myself with a Lucas brand EGR.
