its not major personally i wouldnt put them inside the headlight incase anything happens, its not hard you drill a 20mm hole off centre of the round cover and plug it in, put the ballasts some where they will not be loose.

you only have to open up the "cover" to about 20mm and the ballast/ cancellators fit in a recess that is designed to hold them UNDER the light as said b4 an hours job and a huge difference for about£40 ,i have the6000k 35w and believe it or not i can now use the car at night
