Default What, where & which ???

I'm into keeping a good shine on my motor, using AG (srp etc.)and Megs products(stage 1,2 & 3 polish, water magnet & applicator pads etc.etc., but.......... looking on this page, some of you detailing guru's mention Megs #16, #21, #82 !!!!
    Colinite 476s !!!
    What are these products ?
Where do you buy them from and what do they cost ?
What's the best for the STAR SILVER colour ?
Also, claybars...... is it best to buy a 'claybar' or is the Megs clay liquid stuff as good ?

50 questions i know, but i also know you guys give all the right answers

meguiars #16 is a wax - speak to Bryan (Brl123) for details of how to get some, he was selling tubs for about ten quid delivered a little while ago.

meguiars #21 is a synthetic sealant, which is normally applied after polishing the car and before applying wax. it's an equivalent product of megs stage 2...i think.

    megs #82 is a polish

you have to use a clay bar in conjunction with some sort of lubricant, usually a quick detailer, and that is the 'clay liquid stuff' you are talking about. using a clay bar on a dry panel will cause damage to the paintwork. using a clay bar is very easy, there is a guide on this forum, but the most important thing is to maintain a layer of lubricattion between the panel and the bar of clay. it removes all sorts of contaminants embedded in the paint that you will not remove by washing the car alone.

For Star Silver I've been experimenting with all sorts.

Butter Wet Wax ( a Chemical Guys product), is great on dark colours and great on Star Silver, is a doddle to work with and at around £10 a bottle is great vlaue ( as it will last you about 6 months). It gives the Start Silver colour a bit of depth.
