Same here. My old preface had a key slot and my current facelift hasn't. Cost cutting allegedly, although at least you can't lock your keys in the boot with a facelift LOL

While we are talking boot locks, is there any way to have the boot always unlocked when the doors are unlocked. Its so annoying having to press the door button every time you want to get in your boot.

Why is it, if the doors are unlocked, why does the boot have to be locked?

Had this car 7yrs, and this is the biggest gripe i have with my car, it so frustrates me. Sorry moan over.

    Anybody got any answers?

Facelift unlocks driver door only when one click of the fob. Twice click unlocks whole car. Prefer it that way. The catch or button in driver area can get glitchy.

Stops someone opening your boot when you're queued at the lights, etc and stealing anything in the boot.

If it bothers you that much, buy a facelift - they don't lock the boot when you go above 5 mph or after a period of time
