Am needing a chrome strip for the boot seem as tho mine is dented does anyone know how much vx charge also mine at the mo says vectra and 1.9cdti for 150 should I put a vxd badge on instead of a 1.9cdti car on outside only has a xp front spoiler/splitter

I got quoted £130 from VX...just check out ebay I managed to find one for £30 second hand but good condition

sorry to jump in on your post, but does anyone know if these chrome strips can be polished? I was after a new one as mine is scratched to u know what, didn't want to attempt to polish it if it would make it worse or a waste of time. Thanks

Yup, polished mine using AG metal polish, came up a treat. It removed the scratches and the oxidisation.

Ih good stuff cheers, I think I've got some megs metal polish so will try that, did you remove it off the car to do it?

Oi lol I used tcut on mine came up a treat removed all the marks I done mine on car

No mate, kept it on the car. Probably easier if you remove it though. Megs metal polish will do the trick, I used a microfibre cloth when I did mine.
