Before I picked up my 1.9cdti 150 the dealer had a new intake manifold fitted, since then I've only had it 2 months and done a couple thousand miles, and the swirl flaps have seized up again lost all faith in this car now, what would you guys do, either reject the car and take your money back or get the dealer to fix it and hope it lasts this time?

Take it back get the stealer to fix it then blank the egr of yourself shouldnt have anymore trouble i give mine a intake clean once a month just for peice of mind

can't help but wonder if the dealer did have the manifold replaced or is just blagging it .

Is it the egr that causes the problems is it? How hard is it to blank? Thanks for speedy reply.

I've got a receipt for it and you can clearly see its new, I did wonder that as well though lol

The EGR is easy to blank you get blanking plates on ebay

So if I blank it will it still pass emission test? Guess it'll bring up the warning light? Excuse for a remap I suppose

Check that the stealer has replaced the Swirl Actuator as well. To save pennies, they will put the old acutator onto a new manifold, causing limp mode and P1109 error codes. HTH
