    Default (More) Barmy wipers!!

Hi all, I've done several searches and it seems I've a new issue, my wipers refuse to park in the normal position (they're parking about 17 degrees from horizontal) although when on constant, as opposed to intermittent, they sweep the windscreen normally. So, any ideas Guys?
    Cheers, Ian.

No. As I said I did a search and the fault is NOT the same as the one you've highlighted above, my wipers don't park randomly about their swept area but simply park at an angle near the bottom of the screen. They don't foul the trim at the top of the stroke nor the scuttle panel at the bottom of the stroke so aren't fitted to the spindles incorrectly. It's no so bad it can't be lived with and certainly won't fail an MOT so I'm gonna assume that short of replacing the entire wiper mechanism I'll have to live with it should (genuine) illumination not be forthcoming from this august body.
    Cheers, Ian.

sounds like they are set wrong , assuming they do hit the lower level of travel when switched on then either come back up to rest , or go down then up when switched on.
if so then loosen the nut on the motor where it connect to the crank arm , re-align the wipers & tighten the nut back up

If its the same as my old siggy then it will be the motor, mine started off by not parking at the bottom of the screen and then over a couple of weeks parked higher & higher up the screen. Had to change motor in the end.
