Bonnet Vents

Having bought some pre-sprayed focus bonnet vents (saphire black), I'm now planning to go down the same route as one or two others on the forum and fitting them to enhance the look of my bonnet. Has anyone had any issues with fitting the vents ?
Obviously I'm trying to avoid any engine problems if I fit them.
I'm not going to attempt the fitting myself, I hope to find a bodyshop that will do it for me.
Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

Work out where you want them - don't assume the bodyshop will make that decision correctly. You need to avoid cutting through the skeleton on the underside of the bonnet if at all possible, and also avoid placing them where they will let water drip onto something important. Also take into consideration the shape of the vents - does the contour match the contour of the bonnet in your chosen place.
