go for an insignia elite just got mine and love it
Don't touch them mondeo 155 there a money pit. Get a insignia accord or the new shape mondeo aslong as its 59 onwards
I say keep what you got. If its running well and you love it, why change it?
Just chucking money away. Thats my opinion, its up to you what you do with your money.
But the chances are, something will need paying out on a newer car, rather than your existing car.
keep what you have. the new car could turn out to be a friday afternoon car.
i think the ford has same trouble with dmf/egr/manifold and has the added benefit of the injectors being a little suspect also v v expensive to replace
I was in the same dilemma a while back, test drove a STTDCI and it wasn't as quick as I thought it was... I even took a video of it.
Give me a minute and I'll load it up.
Here's a pic of the one I went to see. Very nice with the leather / alcantera seats which were heated and cooled, digital climate control.
And here's the video... Notice the power doesn't really come in until after 3000 rpm and then its time to change gear.

It was also quite noisy... not really that refined.
And I know it wasn't up to temp but I'd decided by that time that I wasn't going to but it so....
