ouch is that alloy repairable
this happened to me about 4 weeks back but it was a brake disc. bent the rim so bad had to buy a new wheel
Not sure, off to the wheel place tomorrow first thing. There's a fairly reputable one about 1/2 mile away. I tell you what, it went with a right bang. Nothing compared to when i hit a badger though.
did the brick shatter? the brake disc did lol sounds like i drove through a glass window
Not sure. TBH i didn't check the mirror, Had the family in the car so i was more concerned with what might happen if the rubber/ wheel were to come off :/ Luckily it didn't come to that. Did about 500 yds and pulled into a layby. Checked the tyre for damage. I saw the slit in the side but it wasn't too deep. Pulled over again 2 miles later at the vibration had got worse, decided to put the cheese cutter on. 4 hr trip back at 50mph not good.
Blame the council and say it was a pot hole.
As said above, finda llocal pot hole and blame that
i think i might know someone who could respray tha once its straightened out
I thought you were supposed to put the space saver on the rear of the car, not the front so as to not impair the steering.
i.e. if you've a damaged front tyre/wheel, remove a good one from the rear, fit space saver and then fit the rear wheel on the front of the car.
