    U can replace stalks if u wish don't need replace whole CIM

    I understand it is the CIM that he needs.

    He is just identifying it as the module to which the stalks are attached.

    See your other thread - I have suggested that you have a really good look at yur wiring and connections, before thinking of swapping modules.

    If your vehicle is indeed an ex-police vehicle, it is very likely that the wiring will have been ripped apart and hacked into to fit their onboard equipment.
    And when the vehicle is sold, they simply rip out their equipment and leave a mangle of damaged looms and wiring behind.
    They will do the minimum to the wiring to allow the vehicle to run before being sold on - usually at a "sold as seen" style auction.
