    Default Door Sills/Skirts

    Hello,

Would be so kind as to advise me on following please:

    1. My existing side sills/Skirts are plastic & are not colour coded. Is it possible to spray these to good effect in order to colour code?
    2. Do sills/skirts that are already colour coded need to be resprayed to blend in
    3. Will Facelift sills fit pre-facelift cars?

    Cheers

    1. Yes. Check my garage out, I sprayed my sill covers.

    2. As long as you don't own a black car and the skirts are silver you wont need to re paint them.

    3. Yes

Really, that's relatively cheap! Although I spoke to a mobile 'pro' (FlyingColours - Smart Repairs) who was talking £150-£170.

That looks excellent,I think they look so much better colour coded. Did you paint your door handles as well ?

Yes I did them too. Actually doing the door handles made the biggest difference imo.

Thank you. Regarding the materials, are we talking normal primer paint followed by the colour paint then lacquer for the sills & the handles,or is special primer required for the plastic parts?
