    Default Anyone ever changed a crankshaft pulley on 1.8

    lo all.. has any1 changed a crankshaft pulley on 1.8 zx18e, the one the Aux belt runs around. Is it "pulley off and the new one on" or cambelt off jobbie ect.. any info thanks Loz.

    Yes its just an on and off kinda thing, you wont need to touch the timing belt.

    The crankshaft pulley is rattling? Never heard of that before Lossa. Sure its not the water pump?

    nah cambelt and water pump is new 3mths ago... tbh its more like a vibration rattle if u know what i mean... and its only at high revs under load.

    around about 2500 rpm i can here it in 1st, 2nd and 3nd not so much... its doing my head in m8... ive asked a few mechanic's what it could be and there no help at all
