    Default Brake pads

    My pads are driving me mental at the moment all for corners rattle like there is no tomorrow so which ones do I buy don't want gm as they cost waaaaayyyyy to much lol

    i paid £66 for disc's and pads from gm (thats £66 for the front) & another £66 if i want the back ...dont know if i get them cheaper if buy both together !! lol

    VCP sell genuine pads for about the same as you'll buy after market from ebay.

    Aftermarket pads can rattle as they come with a spring instead of a clip to hold them, the Pagids on mine rattled like bugg*ry until I fashioned some small shims to take up the slack.

    Explains why mine have never rattled as I always use genuine VX pads

    are they really GM branded pads??their cheaper than the after market pads i got!!! if so wow, i paid 35 quid from vx for front pads. which brings me to another point, you say rattles?? is it not clucks?? my after market pad clucked in the calipers and were squeakin put copper slip and tryed everything but i got rid of them, bit the bulit and put the GM pads in, no clunk no squeak. sorted. also got my 20 quid back for the after market pads lol
