    Talking New rs tuning results

Just an Update for all. New Mods - Water Methanol + Injector flow increased 19% Calibrated and balanced flow rate.

WATER METH DOES INCREASE POWER + TORQUE THE TWO GO HAND IN HAND.

More power to come from a few more mods, Bigger MAF / Bigger water Meth Nozzle

255 BHP / 380 TORQUE WITH WATER METH

    WITHOUT WATER METH 246.6

YOU COULD SAY THE EXTRA FLOW CONTRIBUTED TO 6 BHP AND THE REST BY WATER METH

nice results but why does the torque dip between 2800 and 3200?

Impressive m8 but I have to say as much as Harvey smith has proved how far this engine can be pushed, my limits are larger turbo, larger intercooler and remap to get to 220bhp I'd be happy.

I believe the clutch is slipping and is getting worse on the stock DMF.

THIS is being sorted as we speak and the car should be able to put the power down a lot better with an uprated clutch and single mass flywheel.

GAZ from what I have learnt you can get those gains quite easy as long as you have the right size turbo and a good intercooler which preforms its duty.

Cheers was thinking of a 52mm wheel by the looks of things. Got a turbo un the boot of the car waiting to be worked on.

The DMF should last of the gears are used properly (not jumping into higher gear than is needed) and starting the engine with the clutch pressed. Solid flywheels will allow the teeth of the gears to rub under dangerous harmonics and subsequently break possibly.

i might do this if mine started rattling but don't they break crank shafts and gearboxes? and dmf are smoother and grip better. and wont welding the dmf make it unstable and cause more vibrations than smf?
