06 face lift 2.2 direct sri

i dont have a tc button, but today the roads were slightly i damp, i pulled away from a junction quite hard/fast and noticed a light come on then go off in the lower middle area of my instrument display, it seemed to go off as my front wheels regained the grip - any idears what this light was and if i have traction control?

yes m8 you have esp/tc fitted

if you get a tc swithc and fit it then have the missing wiring fitted then you will have switchable tc

1.8 engine does not have this fitted
One of the reasons I did not even look at this engine, when buying mine

if yours is a 1.8 then it wont have tc,i dont think theyve ever had tc fitted to the 1.8

theres always that choice to retro fit it by replacing the abs unit with the tc 1 and get the switch and
wire it up and i cant see why not it wont work.

My 2005 diesel Life model had TC and the switch, yet my 2008 2.0 Turbo Sri hasn't got it, which seems odd!

cheers guys i will investigate this further, gona see what is behinde the blank switch plate, i also have rear tweeters and front center speaker if this helps with why my facelift has traction control.
