I was wondering if there is anybody on here or if anyone knows someone that works within the autism field ie adult diagnosis.

No mate your not being harsh this is a factor but I'm more than 100% sure that I have an underlying issue which contributes to my every day struggle with certain parts of life I have looked further into autism, aspergers syndrome and also ADHD which I feel I relate too I know it's easy to read and diagnose yourself with everything that's why I'm booked in at the gp's to get the ball rolling because there are lots of help out there

I understand what you mean I know it's easy to read and say yeah I have this I have that but for years I've struggled with everyday stuff that I believe comes natural to most it's hard for me to give examples to be honest typing with the I phone isn't the best or most practical and it's long winded I know what I must do for myself if I want any quality of life

My mates daughter has autism. My son has ADHD and they are a world apart. His daughter displayed signs from birth where as my son who is ten it is now becoming more apparant even though it was diagonosed 4 years ago.Their needs are different and the effect each has on their life is different.

What comes "naturally" to most does not mean it is normal. My son excels at art, maths (He can do my daughters GCSE maths homework at 10!) yet his reading and writing is at the age of a 6 year old.

Get checked out if you are really concerned

I'm booked in Tuesday I have written down alot of concern's as when I get there I get quite uncomfortable and my mind goes blank there is an issue I would say I read up and watched videos of adults with ADHD and I'm 99.9% sure this may be it I'm always forgetful forget what were talking about half way through conversations etc I constantly flit from one task to another etc etc etc.
All through my school life I had behavioural problems I was constantly picked on and was always given reports that said Paul lacks concentration and disrupts others he has the ability but is often easily distracted.

Anyway enough of the down talk I'm trying to stay positive and get things sorted I was just after certain advice tbh but thanks guys for your comments I appreciate them millions
