Installing a connects2 interface

hi guys


bit the bullet and removed my cd70 navi

just went and bought this.....

as i still had all the stuff, facia, fakra adaptor, wiring kit etc from my old headunit......i didnt have to buy all this again.

i want to fit the connects2 steering wheel interface ( which i also have kept )...........my problem is, i cant find the set up instructions for the connect2.

ive been on their website and theres no instructions on this either.

can anyone member on here give me some details on how i go about the set up for this?

ive got the proper patch etc......its just my minds went blank as to whats the procedure in plugging in/making it work once the new head units fitted.

RBH let me get it right, you had your autodab interface (connects2) fitted with CD70. Now you bought sony unit with dab and you are tryin to connect autodab interface with your sony radio?? If yes i think it wont work coz connect2 wirring loom was only for CD70. And why you try to fit connect2 interface if you already have DAB in sony??

yep............had the autodab fitted to the cd70.................ive now bought the sony dab - yes.

im not connecting the autodab interface to the sony - ive the connects2 steering wheel interface i want to connect to the sony.

the autodab is out and in the box again.

From memory wire the main interface in, not the patch wire at this time turn your stereo on and test it works the switch off and connect the patch lead from the connects 2 interface to your stereo.
