yes dan but where dose this end, not driving because we may have a heart attact? may suffer a stroke etc, it could happen to any of us mate, now on the other hand if his condition was not discloses then that is a different matter, but if dvla are aware and they let him drive, then who are we to argue? its for them in power to decide mate, and we should not judge.
they need to be 'fit' free for a certain amount of time before they are allowed on the road... Still its a close call the very lucky no-one was hurt..
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services
To all of you saying I shouldn't of being driving **** off, I have had my license back for 7 weeks after being clear from fits for 2 years, I had to have loads off risk assesments with the speicialist at the hospital, he said I am safe to drive, dvla no about my illness, my insurance know I'm epileptic and know about my restrictions, yeah I could of killed someone if I crashed and I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt, but for someone to say I shouldn't be on the road then you can go **** ya self, the police arrived on the scene with a death squad cos my car is that bad and I was unconcious, thanks for people sticking up me as epilepsy can happen any time and if I knew I was going to have a fit I would of pulled over
"if I knew I was going to have a fit I would of pulled over"
That's exactly the point Mike.
Even after specialists say you're OK you still have a fit whilst you're driving.
So telling me to **** off isn't going to change anything is it.
i can understand what people are saying but this guy could have died and at the end of the day a metal box traveling at 80mph will never be completely safe and as someone else has said we should not be the ones judging if this person should be driving. i know if i had just lost my car and licence through illness and a very serious crash i would be distrought and to see people say he could have killed someone is completely uncalled for (just my opinion) rest up mate take care and dont let people get to you
i can see everyones points, but the facts are doctors, tests and the dvla have allowed him to drive, thats why hand on heart i can not put the blame directly to mike.
and id rather of been hit by mike (fully insured, legal driver) then some drink driver druggie or car theif, who are probably driving illegally, no insurance and dont give a damm.
V6 signum, thanks mate appreaciate your support no one will get to me I'm thick skinned but when he's saying I should of pulled over, he must think I know when its going to happen, oh does he think I'm so ****** stupid to still go 80 mph knowing after going to have a fit and nearly die, lmao honestly he must think I'm stupid
My mrs was told by dvla 3 years seziure free
Before they would even consider her for driving
But she has declined to drive as she says it can happen at anytime and doesnt want hurting or killing anyone on her conscience
Feel for ya mate its not aa nice thing like but if she's happy not driving then that's good cos I feel like ggivinmg up driving but I love it to much
