Default Would you replace oil filter housing??

morning peeps. I'm due to do an oil change on my 1.9 cdti vec . I do this every 6 month. 6 month ago I did the interim service myself as vx wanted silly money. After I changed the oil I noticed a very slight oil leak around the filter housing so I removed the filter and replaced the two I rings incase I split one of the new ones whilst fitting. Anyway the leak was so small I just forgot about it and when I came to check again about a month later it had stopped. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to get a new oil filter housing incase I get the same problem again, I think I may have overtightened this housing a little in an attempt to stop the leak.

Use the same housing, change the o-rings and remember to smear them with new oil before fitting them.
