    confused in jecters need recoding

    hi i have just took my injecters out after spending 1000 on the car to fix it got them tested to find out one is broke but they are saying i will need to get them recoded bk to the car is this true or can i just put them bk in thanks

    if they have been overhauled they may have provided new Injection codes for them which WILL need coding in, but if they just tested them and not done nothing to them then no... Did they replace the broke one with new?

    yes the one that was broke is having new parts put on it and how much would it cost to have them coded to the car

    its a 5 minutes procedure, phone the place thats doing it and ask if they are gonna to have new injector codes/values afterwards..

    maybe someone local with opcom/tech2 can do it for you?

    sorted it m8 just put them back in and they was fine thanks but my vac pipe is broke where do i get one from and what size

    i use to have loads of black smoke but now it is grey/white i done the vac pipes as well what a difference it made turbo is bk lol just what could b making the smoke now thanks guys for help

    Oh dear if they've repaired one and replaced parts on it it should have a new injection quantity code. It will start and run ok but not utilising the injector properly

    geez oh is nothing safe from recoding lol,i often think that dirty injectors are overlooked when tuning cars as if they arent flowing properly then you wont see the full benefits,im hoping to get my car remapped at some point but id be looking to get injectors cleaned first but didny know you had to get them reprogrammed!
