Seat Swapping? Hatchback to Estate will they fit??

AS the title says I am looking to change the seats in my 04 reg Vectra C Energy Estate will seats from a hatchback version be a straight forward swap?

Will a multi function steering wheel fit straight on and work the controls of the stereo?

    Cheers Mike

Regarding the seats, I'm 99% sure they will fit. The only condition is that the new ones to come from a hatch.

The wheel, if your car is half-canbus, I don't think it will work.

fronts will fit fine, the rear I believe the base is the same, but the back rest is not, Ian Highlander managed to fit hatch into an estate but a lot of work, if not after rare leather SRI I would stick to only getting Estate rear seats to swap.

If its half canbus (buttons) then your need half canbus wheel, if full canbus (scroll buttons) then your need full canbus wheel

I fitted a hatchback SRi leather set in my estate. Be ready for a LOT of work if you decide to go down this route.

The front seats and door cards will fit straight in with no extra work.

The backs of the rear seats will fit straight in with no extra work.

The rear bolsters will NOT fit period, you will need estate ones for this.

The rear door cards will NOT fit period, you will need estate or Signum ones for this.

The seat base will NOT fit period, however if you don't mind a lot of work, the fabric/leather off the hatchback one is enough to stretch over the estate bench. You need to strip both benches and stretch the hatchback one over your old bench. Look at my thread on this for more info and lots of pics.

The steering wheel airbags are different as well as the control wheels so not a straight swap either
